Kimberly-Clark Professional Headquarters Building Receives Prestigious BOMA 360 Performance Program Designation

ROSWELL, Ga., July 17, 2013 - The Kimberly-Clark Professional headquarters building located in Roswell, Ga., has received a BOMA 360 Performance Program designation from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International for demonstrating best practices in building operations and management.

"We are delighted to have received this distinction, certifying that our building is operating at the highest levels of excellence," said Dan DeCriscio, office buildings go-to-market leader, Kimberly-Clark Professional. "We're also proud because it's recognition that we are practicing what we preach: our headquarters offers our own employees an Exceptional Workplace that is healthier, safer and more productive, just like those we provide for our customers."

The BOMA 360 designation is another major accolade for the headquarters facility, known as Building 100. In 2010, it was awarded LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. At the time, it was the first LEED certification for a Kimberly-Clark Corporation property. It was received under the "LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance" program for existing and new practices in energy use, water use and indoor environmental quality. The four-story, 80,000-square-foot building houses about 350 employees and was originally constructed in 1980.

The BOMA 360 Performance Program evaluates commercial properties in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety, security and risk management; training and education; energy; environment and sustainability; and tenant relations and community involvement. Since the program's inception in 2009, more than 600 commercial properties demonstrating best practices in these areas have earned the prestigious BOMA 360 label.

In addition to earning a BOMA 360 designation, Kimberly-Clark Professional is a BOMA 360 Ambassador. Through this program, Kimberly-Clark Professional serves as a valuable resource, sharing its knowledge and expertise, to help building owners and managers establish best practices in their facilities.
