Former Clorox Chairman and CEO G. Craig Sullivan Elected to Kimberly-Clark's Board of DirectorsDALLAS, June 9, 2004--Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB) today announced that G. Craig Sullivan, former chairman and CEO of The Clorox Company, has been elected to its board of directors, effective September 1, 2004. 

Mr. Sullivan, 64, retired as Chairman of Clorox Company in December of 2003. 

Mr. Sullivan's career in the consumer products industry spans 37 years. He joined Clorox in 1971 and held a number of senior sales and management positions during his career, culminating in his election as chief executive officer and chairman of the board in July 1992.

"Having led a successful consumer products company, he brings unique qualifications to the role. Born in Huntington, N.Y., Mr. Sullivan received a bachelor of science degree from Boston College in 1964. Mr. Sullivan also serves as a director of Levi Strauss & Company and Mattel, Inc. In addition, he is a director of the Bay Area Council, The American Ireland Fund, and is a member of the board of governors of The Commonwealth Club of California. He is also a trustee of the California Pacific Medical Center Foundation.
