Kimberly-Clark's Dudley Lehman Announces Plans To Retire After 30 Years With Company

DALLAS, Nov. 30, 2005 – Kimberly-Clark Corporation (NYSE: KMB) announced today that Dudley Lehman, group president of the company's Business-to-Business (B2B) Group, has said he plans to retire later next year after 30 years with the company. The B2B Group includes the K-C Professional, Health Care, Nonwovens and Partnership Products businesses. Prior to his current position, Mr. Lehman served as Group President - Infant and Child Care for North America.

With Mr. Lehman's pending retirement, Joanne Bauer, president, Health Care, and Jan Spencer, president, K-C Professional, both of whom reported to Lehman, will report directly to Tom Falk, Kimberly-Clark's chairman and chief executive officer. Until his retirement, Mr. Lehman will continue to oversee the Nonwovens and Partnership Products businesses.

"Dudley's contributions to the company over the last three decades have been substantial," said Falk. "While head of Infant and Child Care, he was instrumental in the development of Huggies as a truly global brand. During this time, the company achieved significant milestones in market share and profit growth driven by product innovations in Huggies diapers, the introduction of Huggies baby wipes and the launch of the Pull-Ups, GoodNites and Little Swimmers brands.

"As for Joanne and Jan, they are proven leaders, and I look forward to working with them and the rest of our senior leadership team to advance our global business plan and aggressively pursue a myriad of growth opportunities in key markets worldwide."
